Pi Jacobs draws inspiration from her unconventional upbringing in “The land of weed and wine”, also known as Northern California. She is signed to LA’s Blackbird Record Label, and her new album, “Soldier On”, produced by Eric Corne (John Mayall,), features Pi’s long-time collaborators Buch Norton (Lucinda Williams,Tracy Chapman) and Zack and Adam Hall (Billy Ray Cyrus). The album was in the top 100 of the Americana Music Association Chart for over 4 four months upon its release. Pi’s music has been heard on NPR, DittyTV, Austin Music TV, Americana Highways, American Songwriter Magazine, and regularly on radio tastemakers KCSN (LA) WMOT (Nashville) and WFUV (NYC), and stations across the globe.
